Ah ok yea, I wasn't sure what was considered short for starting out. I had some decent length, and density, and now have some major looping and stubbiness going on. Funny thing is I really never combed my hair in my life, so it must have started dreading just when it was ready and long enough.

yea that's exactly how it is and sometimes its just the intention to let it that matters
