Glad to hear that you take opinions like they are meant to be taken. Respect to you. Ciaralynne Altiery said:

hmm thankyou for the advice, I always wondered why it was a bad idea. They actually seem to be looser then my actual dreads but the extensions are locking up. I will watch out though (: thanks again Knottysleeves said:
Sounds like your hair is just aching to be dreaded already! :-)

Just a warning -- your extensions will dread at a different rate than your own hair. Commercial "human hair" has been processed and treated with various things, so it usually dreads up VERY quickly and tightens fast, so the extra weight will pull on your own hair and cause locking issues. That's why extensions should only be added to mature dreads... at one month, you don't have a strong, solid base yet to keep the extensions in. Check them regularly because they are going to come loose soon as your own hair tries to dread up.

How did u put them in? Basically wats the pros and cons to doin them. I'm just curious.Thanx for ur feedback-thatirieguyProtected by the most high Jah Rastafari

Hey, this is ciara, im just on my bf's account. um they dreaded about the same rate, they never got as tight. I used human hair. There were no problems except for the fact that they were stiff and looked odd. Idk, I don't recommend extensions. just let your hair do its thing. extensions are a waste or time and money. I basically bought some from sally and then cut them into 1 1/2 sections then I backcombed them cut off the little threaded part and crocheted them in. There are a couple of videos on youtube that show you how to do it.
