Are no loops normal??

So I just did my whole head 2 weeks ago and so far I'm loving the mess that is on my head! However, I do have about 8 dreads that are about 4 months old, which are doing great, getting thick, spongey and actually looking like dreads. I know everyone's journey is different, but is it normal to not get loops in any of them? I see these amazing pics of these beautiful messy loops, bumps & centipedes and I can't help but be kinda jealous lol...I'm sure I'm just being paranoid, but it would be my much that I have boring "straight to dreaded" hair

They may still loop up. 4 months is still at the baby stage...they have not even gotten to the crazy teen stage yet.

Thanks Tate! That's what I figured, just gotta be patient. I'm fine with that BTW, I pray my dreads are as beautiful as your one day! I look at pics of yours alomost everyday truly BEAUTIFUL!
