Crystals dreads look pretty maintained to me. I think she definitely crochets them so WTF is that stylist even talking about?????

Disgusted..
I like her dreads and was excited to see her on there in the beginning, but dreads are pretty rare around where I am, I know one guy my age who is half black/half white who just did his, and a white guy friend who actually sent me to this site who is growing them, and one lady who works with the kangaroos in our zoo, otherwise I don't know anyone w/ locs and definately not female whites.....*shrugs* I've always gotten crap for my son who is now almost 6 had had a mohawk since about 10 months and he LOVES it so I'm used to criticism, but this being "news" makes me giggle....obviously they want us all to be "mainstream" and made up especially if in the media!
