Shampoo Question

I just bought some Trader Joe's TEA TREE TINGLE shampoo, I was wondering if this is a good shampoo to use before I actually use it

if is residue free then its a pretty safe bet..best to avoid any chemicals on the locks and scalp...DR bronners also has a good tee tree soappersonally tee tree tends to dry out my scalp a little too much.. smells good tho..
