2 year old natural dreads, strange residue on tips

its lint, i have identical tips. i had to actually brake some hairs to take it out. and guess what it was? hair from my dog.

I agree that it looks just like lint. I have the same kind of thing in most of my dreads. As far as I can tell there is nothing that can be done about it. It just comes with having dreads; they'll never be perfect.

the shampoos from dreadlockshampoo.com, seem to get most link out..if u scrub the whole dread well (bar)

i was amazed they got out lint that was in there for years
