Messy Up-dos, Etc.

I see so many new dreadies posting on here about how messy/uncontrollable their hair is, and if there's anything they can do to calm it down.

We need a thread where we can share ideas for styling our crazy hair.

And, if there's already been a thread like this in the past...well hey, now we have a new one!

This was taken at about...three months? Just grabbed two mats of hair (they weren't really dreads yet) and tied the rest of my hair back with them. Everyone at work was like "Zomgz, you'll never need hair ties again!"

Oh yeah, I've seen that before. She's so cute.

I've got nubs for dreads so far, like hair on one of the brothers on the boondocks length. It will be nice when I'll be able to do something with it. I was recently asked to style my hair for a mass I attended and even my mother thought it was absurd to ask that of me. The woman who asked was lucky I am able to even put it up at this point. I had to sew my own hair tie just to pull it back. Very much so looking forward to styling a bit cause dread braids are so pretty to me.

They told you to tie them up in order to attend the mass? That's dumb...
