Is it possible to wash your hair/scalp with a bar of soap? Say something like Simple soap which in England is meant to be organic and chemical free.

Hey SE, about the baking soda wash, I tend to pour it over my hair and leave it for 10 mins, I know the drill now but I always wondered, I shouldn't be scrubbing my hair or anything, like when you put shampoo on and rub in in with your hands? That's right isn't it, you just pour on and leave it to drip for 10 mins before rinsing it out?
