tnr isnt a bad option idf u dont go natural

im sure u wouldnt use glue or liquid latex in yoiur dreads right?

well believe it or not there are salons thast use either but refuse to use wax they know wax is bad but will cover your hair in rubber instead

why

because ppl dont think its hard enpugh to simply let it happen

they have to believe dreads are hard work and you need a pro you need o spend sometimes literaky thousands to dread (funny how the more tghey spend the sooner they end up starting over)

dreading is simple..it happens if u let it

the more u worry about messing it up the more u will mess it up trying to avoid messing it up

wether u go nartural or tnr u can start right this second

simply deciding to dread is all it takes

I'm 90% convinced that wax isn't an option now, and I really like the twist and rip method.

Well I'll probably start tomorrow. Any recommendations for a type of shampoo or anything before I start this to avoid complication. Anything you can tell me about tnr that most people realize later and wish they knew when they started.

my friend started his about 5 days before i decided to go through with natural locks. he on the other hand has different hair than i do, his hair being VERY similar to yours, just maybe more straight. he gave himself about a 4-5 month head start i guess by sectioning with rubber bands, then TnRing them. he cut the bands 12 hours later. he has a lot of loose hair right now, but he has a base for his dreads to go off of, helping speed his process a bit. this may be a good option for ya

u dont need shampooo if u use the baking sida deep cleanse (search the site)

or in our shops is maylees gardens or u can get dr bronners anywhere but u gotta dilute it 12 times more water then soap

but they dont work well in hard warer

tnr

randomixe alot

twist 1 time split randomly diferent %' in each hand each split

retwist randomly too

the more random u are the better

some rips should only have a few dozen hairs in 1 hand

other times 60% etc

if u split it nearly in 1./2 everytime it looks braidlike but thats ok too the braid look vanishes after awhuile

try not combing 2 weeks washinmg with bs/acv andding sea salt

no touchimgh'it will section itself

use the natural sections

but if u start to tangle at all in 2 weeks just keep goin natural

from the picture, the guy looks like he did t&r. some of them look a bit braided. t&r and sea salt sprays are all you'd need.

Do you have a link to a guide on the bs/acv + sea salt process?
