Thank you so much! I am glad I did not continue my first set of dreads I did it wrong lol and i almost was gonna go to a salon, they were saying I needed a perm which is complete bs since my hair is thick and decently curly as is. You covered everything. But one question that I still think about is what should I do when my dreadlocks start to get longer? do I just backcomb them as well? I read that if you backcomb your hair too much that it is bad? im not sure but besides that I am good to go.

dont backcomb ever theres no need tpo

when they get longer let them get longer

what your not getting is that hair dreads itself you do not need to do a thing..ever you dont need to backcomb to start you dont need to do anything as they grow

if all you do is wash and go they dread themselves ..effortlessly

what did u do wrong before? wax?

Oh then one of my mistakes would be backcombing and I also used wax to keep my dreadlocks in their form. Did not go well haha and would length effect the free-formed dreadlocks? as in if my hair was 6 inches would it take longer to freeform then 12 inches?

iriesoaringeagle and dreadlockssite

nah no need to unless you have a crappy diet (especialy if u eat alot of meat) as that will make your sweat nasty

but a good clean diet your sweat shouldnt smell

you'll want to wash like every 3 days ish
