What is everyone's input on sleeping with new backcombed dreadlocks? beanie on or beanie off?

Beanie's are too tight no matter what. They restrict all movement. The only hat you should be worried about is sleeping with or without a tam. And 99% of the time it will fall off over night, so why bother. Locks do not have to be baby'd It's messy hair. Just let it be messy until it starts to locks up

Beanie off. Don't wanna restrict the movement. Sleep is a good time for dreading. I find sleeping on my dreads surprisingly comfy.

i slept without the beanie. i have sooo many loose hairs haha, but i kind of like the look. seems much more natural when there is loose hairs in there. maybe later on they will even form their own little dreads so i will have dreads of all sizes

Yeah, they'll either form their own, or get sucked into one close by. There will always be some loose hairs, but never the same ones all the time
