Heya, the great thing about dreads is you only have to do 3 things: keep them clean...separate...and enjoy the ride. That's it, nothing to maintain. Just sit back and enjoy with no worries.

Aaahhhh you said you'd just keep sitting and watching. Don't do that!! It makes time slow down to a crawl. The best thing to do at this point is to just forget you have hair (it's actually pretty easy to accomplish!). Get busy with life and the next thing you know, you're rocking a head full of awesomeness! Get out in the sunshine, drive with the windows down, play in the woods, wash your hair a couple times a week and enjoy the freedom.
