new mobile site front page

as you may know we had a new mobile site update recently up till now the activity feed served as the front page but today i made a new front page www.dreadlockssite.com/m

you can see it on desktops too but what i want is multiple phones to take a peek and see if the layout wiorks on most phones/browsers

and also if the text is ok or should be edited

any other ideas also welcome

Checking it out now...

The blue on blue links are kind of hard to read. Maybe changing them to a darker blue would help immensely.

Aside from that, nothing immediate stands out as weird...

Oh, the links are easier to read when they are hi-lited by my mouse though because there is a mouseover effect... but I still think they should be legible at a glance.

Just my opinion.

Okay, tried to go to a couple of links and the page mostly loads but then I get errors. Not sure if this is just my phone being a jerk or not so I would love to see what other people come up with.

Pages that I tried: Featured Groups, Events, and Latest Activity

I'm using a Blackberry.

I got one that was a pop up from the feed that said there was a problem rendering the page (after it had mostly loaded.) Then the others mostly loaded and then blanked out.

Lemme try and re-load them and if I get it again I can take a snapshot.

ok and then peek at front page is that better lightened the menu background

Okay, here is what the front page looks like from my phone:

Here is the pop up error that occurs from the Latest Activity:

And here is what happens when I go to the Featured Forums:

That last pic kinda looks like a "loading icon" but there is absolutely nothing happening...

Both the pop up and the dead page occur when the page is almost done loading.. in the meantime, the page shows up and looks like the images and content are continuing to load but then suddenly, this occurs.

As I said, may just be my phone so, I would love to read some more feedback.

I'm re-loading the front page now to see changes to links.

EDIT: looks MUCH better.

hmm thats unusual and havent seen that happen there will be more fixes abd updates to the mobile site over the next few weeks so it might get better tho that could be your phone is there a way to ckearthe browser cache and try again?

Yeah, it's more than likely my phone. I will clear the cache tomorrow since the battery is low and try again.
