Dread update (7/12)

I took this photo today. How are they coming along? I started them using the 2-strand twist method, and now I just wash them and separate them. I wash once per week and moisturize the scalp with oils every now and then. I don't wash very often because my hair doesn't produce much oils and that would just try it out, but I really want them to tighten up more . I can tell at quite a few of them are starting to lock at the roots. So what do you think?

Wow! They do look good for 3 months! Sounds like you are on the right track. If they aren't locking I would suggest cutting back the added oils or adding an extra wash. Oily hair tends to take longer to dread and, in spite of saying that you only apply the oils to the scalp, they still travel down the hair shaft.

Other than that, they truly do look like they are heading in the right direction. :)
