we've seen it go biblical...samson's locks anyone? makes sense that they would go back further...
that was only 300 years before king tut in egypt who had dreads and dreads were very common in egypt at the time..in fact it was around then that the comb was invented so it stands to reason that everyone had dreads before that time
thats so true.. i didnt do any historical research before i post that picture. i just noticed that they had dreads.
the truth is that i have been seeing that picture since i was a kid.. i never noticed the dreads before.. so now that i have dreads and i '' care'' about dreads, here they are right infront of me.. and somehow i can understand why most people think of dreads as a trend for the missguided youth.. because they cant ''see'' them through our history..
for me it was like a small revelation, not only about dreads,but,how i always look but i dont always see .. thats why i wanted to share with everyone..
