I am sure this is answered elsewhere but since I saw this pop up, when is it considered an OK time to use the bars? Like how many months in? Or is it even best to wait till your over a year? I know I have read repeatedly it is not meant for new locks. I am going to have to order more liquid again soon but I did order a bar last time too. I have not used it yet though as I am only a little more then 5 weeks in..
trying it out once wouldn't do you any damage. it really depends on more than just mature dreads. if you have dry hair or soft water than i think the bars would work fine for less than mature dreads. i had super soft hair when i started so the bars just made my hair softer. i also have the worst hard water and it makes it hard to rinse bar soaps out. i tend to follow my wash with a salt water rinse. i'm really hoping the new tea tree soap is going to help my flaky scalp.

Hmm I think we have pretty hard water. :/ I guess I could always use the bar I got as body soap lol. I hope so for you too Heather! I have a terrble time with dandruff but *knocks on wood* I think it is getting a littlebit better! I dunno if it is my washing routine, the shampoo, not using hot water to wash my hairor the fact that I have cut gluten out of my diet (or a combo of them!).It has been horrid up until recently and it is not gone but I am def notAS itchy or flakey.
Give it a whirl BEM. These were made to my specifications, hard water and all. I could never find a proper dread soap and my stepmom had a soap company, so we put our heads together. It definitely wont hurt anything. I love the ease of use the bar gives. They work like magic and are great for your body too, not just your hair. We are super happy everyone is enjoying them as much as we do! Im planning some new vids for the YT channel right now!
just ordered the tea tree/rosemary bar:)
Nice Heather! I haven't even had a chance to try these 2 new ones yet. She must have just finished them I really want to try to make a 2 mini bar combo that equals 1 large. One ACV, and the other baking soda. How does that sound?
she should make sample sets of the bars she has now. i'm super sensitive to scents and i would love to buy some samples so i could try them out before purchasing full sized bars. i know tea tree is going to be fine but i have the dragons blood bar and its sometimes a bit overwhelming and i end up with a migraine:/

That makes me think the naked is your best option, no smell at all. I don't want you or anyone else that's scent sensitive having aromatic migraines! The Dragonsblood is definitely a really strong scent, the Satsuma has the least scent power in my experience. I will relay your request for the availability of a set of small soaps!
