I started one week ago, and I'm going to post my day-by-day pictures so far, and will continue to do so.

Today (day 6) looks the worst, I think (besides day 1)

Alright. I just don't like how they don't even look like anything at all without the bands in. Any tips on blunting the ends?

Obviously I can't straighten them; but, what can I do about keeping the ends from being so curly? >.<

They look fine, just make sure you take out the rubber bands and be patient. A week is a very short amount of time, and they're not always gonna look like dreads after one week, but they eventually do lock up, so don't get discouraged, it just takes patience.
