With only a few dreadlocks...

So i have a few dreadlocks on the left side of my head. My method was back combing ::blah blah blah:: Well, i wash my loose hair every 3 days or so. I probablly wash my dreads about once a week depending on my scalp. My question is for the people who dont have a whole head of dreads, can you tell me the issues you have. I have issues with random hairs locking into my dreads as well as residue i am sure. Any sharing is much pleased. Thanks guys. <3

simple solution

wash all your hair every 3 days with a dread freindly soap not regular shampoo

and seperate or comb the hairs so they dont join the dreads

or

let the rest dread

What soap would you suggest? I get dandruff like crazy. Even with all the oil i produce. Better yet, what ingredients should i look for. And what ingredients should i stay away from? I appreciate all your help Soaring Eagle. You our guru for dreadlocks
