so i started my dreads late last night i was up until about 4 am and got less then 1/2 my head done lol
friend is coming over later to help with the back of my head but i was wondering what you all thought about it so far kinda frizzy but i know that takes time. i used the twist and rip method, im unsure about what to do with the tips, for some reason even without using conditioner my hair just didnt wanna work with me on the tips. im thinking maybe back combing them?

anyways please let me know what you guys think and any advice you have ^.^

Washing your hair with baking soda will help them tighten up, and doing a apple cider vinegar rinse. The tips will almost always take the longest. It's up to you what you do with them, but I really like how dreads look with wispies. There's more exact information about the baking soda/acv rinse in the maintenance pages. Best of luck to you! :)

As Surreal said, the tips take a lot longer to lock up. Just leave em. Your dreads already look great. Also, you don't need those rubber bands. They'll only cause problems.
