I am new to dreading and my hair is in the earliest stages of separation before any knots have begun. My question is to ask whether sweating heavily due to exercise or hot weather, as well as the use of some means of tying my hair back while exercising, can have an adverse affect on lock formation?I would greatly appreciate any insight or experience anyone could share on this subject as I am an avid runner and would like to be able to keep exercising while my hair forms locks.

Yea I've had my dreadies for a year and a half and I skateboard like 5 hours a day, it can get pretty lame especially the day after I shower and I go sweat like crazy. It definitely doesn't interfere though if anything I think it helps cause sweat is just salt mostly, but it's kinda gross
