I need help,,,I think...maybe not?

Will my crochet'd dreads and all those really long loose hairs come together some day? Or should I just cut em off and start over?
I had mine started by crochet on June 14th (2011) and after using standard conditioner a week ago to loosen them up (which it did) I had tons of loose hairs. Since then I have been washing every other day with SE baking soda wash recipe and using salt spray once a day in the morning. Sorry SE, I do palm roll gently after the spray and blow dry it on low!My loose pieces are coming together and the ends that came loose have started to lock... albeit, very gently. This is what is working for me so far and I am finally feeling comfortable with the way they look

crochet recovery just takes a long time they will come together just slowly
