No leave them be. They will dread on their own there is no need to worry about them.
3 inches of staight hair is completely normal, and ThR is only necessary when you are making them, to section them. I would not recommend doing TnR again, because that will only bring you back to step 1.
Like Jesse said, leave them be and forget that you even have them (:
