Dread help

i used wax for the first two weeks of my dreads but now im done with it i olny use a crochet hook is that bad?

any ideas for dread maitnence?

crochetr hooks as bad or worse

its breaking hairs

best thing you can do throw the hook asway eremove the wax and leave them alone to dread

the wax has to be removed

crochet recovery takes a long time too

dreads should not take all that work!

stop it all let them dread

its that simple

how do you blunt the ends and what the easiest way to remove wax without recking my dreadds

Tanner, go the natural route in growing dreadlocks it's much morebeneficial.

you dont want to blunt the ends

ok soak in vinager 10 minutes squeezeing it in good

then scrub with lots and lots of dawn dish soap and rince with warer so hot u nearly burn yourself..dont burn yourself but make it hot as u can stand

they'kll probly loosen some but then will actualy begin to dread and dread much faster

I agree with SE on the much faster thing....Last time I had dreads I used wax the whole time and I combed them our with ease now I'm 3 weeks in this time and much further in progress then when I was using wax.....

shane u should tell that silly kid that joined the other day and swore he knew more about wax from 3 months experience then all of us with years and years of experince..and lost dreads..
