"How long did it take you to make your hair like that?"

So I get this question all the time! For me the answer is about 6 hours, but I got to thinkin, what about all you wonderful people who started your adventure by simply throwing out the brush? How do you answer this question? Even tho I started them with the help of a couple of friends I wake up to a new surprise every morning! Some are more loopy, some are more smooth, it's an ever changing process! So it seems like the answer would be how ever long you've had them, no?

Anyway, just curious!

I don't really get asked that yet. I think people think I've been released from the mental institution or homeless or just crazy or something...I have a few TnRs around my face and matts and tangles and a few natural dread type things here and there. It's a crazy mess.I've only been asked how long it took to get it like this once. By someone who is also neglecting their hair.The answer for me is 6 months so far. I think the answer will always be however long it's been since I stopped brushing.
