Showering with dreads

I was just wondering if I take a shower usually every day is it safe to be get my dreads wet everytime I shower or should I like wear a shower cap?n is it alright to swim in them.. Sorry if thats a dumb question

u can wet em as long as u get em dry

u can swim as long as u get em dry

its a pain to dry em daily so shower only when its time to wash the dreads
