I am in pursuit of starting my own dreads. The problem is there are so many ways, what way is the best??

Neglect/natural is probably the best way to go.Backcombing isn't bad but it damages your hair,TnR is probably the best alternative to natural/neglectWhich ever rout you go, don't ever use a crochetneedle or wax! I used wax sparingly only twice,it's been almost 2 months and I'm still trying to getit all out.

So reading up on everything I am thinking of doing the tNr method. Just a few questions for those of you who have done yours this way, what do you do with the ends?

"best" is relative. Everyone needs to decide what's right for themselves. You don't need to do anything with the ends. T & R then leave them alone 'cept for washing & separating!

well diferent things work best based on diferent water conditions overall baking soda hads the best results except in alkaline water like uk has
but theres alotta options and u can choose what u like best
