Question about Rip and Twist method.

So i have been dreading my hair using the twist and rip method they feel really loose. will they lock up over time?

Yes but you have to be patient. They won't start locking for at least a month. Then it will take time. Just let them be and, with time, they will be "perfect"(for you) :)

loose locks faster then too tight as long as they hold some shape if theyre falling apart add a bead

of corse, i have been doing this method for almost 3 monts. and mine are alot better then they were. they are still loose, and there some extra hair sticking out. but they will lock up. i promiss

I mostly twisted mine but did it a little bit. I honestly wish I hadn't. :/

Adding to Paula's reply:When loops and kinks start to show up all over the place it is sign that your dreadlocks are getting tighter.

A lot of the ones that I did that were initially tight are much looser now, just give it time :)
