Hello my name is Leslie and this is my very first time dreading my hair and I'm a little scared that they won't look good after some time. I have thin red hair and after doing them I have 41 dreads and it doesn't feel like I have enough. They are very thin. Can anyone give me any advice? Please and thank you!
they will thicken a lot but if you think 40 isn't enough 50 would be thinner still

I done the twist and rip method and I've washed them one time and used some lock cream on them
oh no lock cream? read it carefully list the ingredients here
you should use no products at all i bet it contains wax
you might need to get wax b gone to get that crap out
lock products..except a decent shampoo are all scams

In thanks for the advice! Any suggestions on how to get my roots to tighten? Is there any brand that will help with the frizz?
absolutely not if your helping with the frizz then your preventing it from dreading
the roots tighten as they mature, they will loosen a lot before tightening
forced tightening of the roots can even cause balding
read the dreaducation page thoroughly
you want nothing but a dread shampoo and toi give them time they will do it all on their own
