remember what it was like to cut them, remember that sense of loss

remember the years you invested in them only to have that time lost

theres your passion ..  the time they took to mature, the years lost when you had to start over

just remember that this time you will be keeping them for decades to come..

I did a mistake like that years ago. I did cut my long hair (not dreads) out of a really bad mood and totally regretted that descision a day after. But stupidly kept the short hair for years. During that time i hated to get a haircut every 6 weeks, hated to comb and maintain my hair daily. So i was wearing hats and caps a lot, to kind of hide my hair i was not pleased with.

I let my hair grow again for more then 12 month now and i feel released, not having to cut and maintain my hair regularly. By going the natural way i think i will get a result i am pleased with for years or hopefully for decades without having to put a lot of time and passion into maintainance. So my passion is to do what its good for me, i let my hair grow into dreadlocks and i hope i will be happy with that for a long time. Take your time an find your personal reasons for what is best for you, the rest is easy...
