Hello I have been a member for awhile but have been on the site in a long time. I did have about shoulder length hair that I had started using the bs/acv wash on-hair delt cleaner then with "regular" shampoo. Since then I had to shave my head. I have been continuing to shave it about every other month. So now Im wanting to get back to dreading my hair, but now Ill be starting from a bald head. My issue now is with short hair I have really bad dandruf?? I dont have it when I have long hair. Or maybe I just dont notice it. But with a shaved head its like a film across my scalp. and when wet its clay like. I can scratch off my scalp in small chunks when its wet. Im guessing this is bad dandruf. If so can I still dread? What can I do about it? And can I dread natural from a bald head?

yes u can id consider dreadlocksham0poo instead of baking soda acv  tearteree or patchoili depending on if its true dandruff or more psoriasis

bs/acv han be kinda harsh   it super cleans but thats cause its a harsh cleaner .. and long term  weakens hair

take bhiotin  for growth

teatree and rosemary for dandruff if its dry svcalp  jojoba or argon  oil

stop using hot water

hot water dries the skin out bad

Ok. I also have hard water ugh. But I wouldn't need to wash it for awhile lol. Finding the oil will have to be online, as I'm just in a small town in Kansas lol.

It's weird I don't have an issue when it's long hair. Guess it's there just don't see it. Weird tho cause scalp is dry but hair is oily.

Do dreads from a shaved head turn out any different then having long hair then letting it dread? I was thinking the weight of long hair and how it starts grouping together is what makes a lot of it. But with a shaved head none of that really develops. Does it? Do you need to do anything different coming from a shaved head?

Ok. thank you.

I have read so many different definitions of what neglect/freeform/organic dreads are. Can you tell me your view? Or is it on the site already? I'll have to hunt it done. But the things I've read were so way off what I thought.

Yeah. It's a bit confusing cause they are all used for the same thing a lot it seems. Thank you SE. Your always answering everyone's stuff. Thanks
