How can I 'forget I have hair' and quit touching it? Every where I go there is a mirror and I'm so curious that I flip through my hair to see what's going on!

Okay. I can try not looking in mirrors but it's really a lot harder than it sounds. Especially at work there is a mirror at almost every sink.
How long have you been letting it go? Are you going the neglect route? I am 4 months in, so still early, but it just came with time for me. There were a couple weeks there where I basically sat on my hands at night, or put them in a fist. Now, I don't even worry about it. Time!

lol.. I only saw this part of this comment on the activity feed, having no idea what the discussion was about.. Kinda threw me off for a second lmao...
It may take some time at first, but eventually you should be able to get better about not messing around with them too much.. and hey, there is nothing wrong with playing with your knotty hair, here and there. Just don't do it all the time lol.

Well I'm almost a week into my natural dreads. So yeah curiosity is strong with this one.. I've gotten better at it and I also made myself a sea salt spray and it is helping my hair section and knot up a bit faster (:
