small diameter dreads

Maybe someone on here can help me by answering a question for me. I have several dread balls at the end of my strands of hair. Here's the problem...the diameter of the strands of hair are about the size of a refill, that goes inside of a ball point pen. With these strands of hair being so small in diameter will they dread up?

yea they will for sure. It may take a bit longer but i have quite a few strands smaller than the ones you described that have begun to dread up.
