Never Have to Separate- Weird?

Hey Peeps :)I haven't checked in for a while, and have never seen this posted: Is it unusual to NEVER have to separate my dreads?Had very fine straight hair before dreading. Wear it down nearly all the time/ occasionally use a big elastic headband or a normal elastic for a ponytail.Dr. Bronner's every few days, ACV/BS 2-3 times a month. Dreads are tight/fully mature and look sweet. I dread ball someone's when I'm bored, but no root damage or tools. Not greasy or overly dry.I had MAJOR shrinkage for the first 2 years! I lost more than half my length. I have about 120 dreads. Why don't my dreads try to congo?! Just curious :)

Nope, it's not weird. I mean, it's uncommon I guess, but not weird. I have very wild, curly hair, but I hardly ever have to separate. I can go a few months without separating, and when I finally remember to do so, only one or two areas are loosely connected.
