Hello there fellow travelers,

I know you have herd this a thousand times already but i have crochet my dredlocks only twice now before i found this site and have stopped this horrible maintenance method :/ i was wondering as now i have fluffys sticking out of the length of my dreaddys, if that hair will eventually dread back into the dreadlock or i now have to grow that section out? What can i do to help with getting the fluffys back in? palm rolling or? i have had my dreddys 3 months... I know i know i wont ever do this again :(

Thank you for your help :)

its normal to have soome..every (non african) dread has them only african hair has tight enough curls to dread in smooth

but

crochet broke alot of hairs so for a good while you'll have way more then normal

no..don't palm roll

just leave em they will get worse..then better

just dont expect them to go away completely

when you look at mine you dont see them right?

only you see them cause yuour looking too close

step back and they dsapear

it will take many months to recover from the crochet though

Even my hair gets very frizzy after I wash it, but a full night of sleep or two fix all the frizz to the scalp
