Hey everyone!

I dont have any real questions, just havent been on the site for a while so wanted to spark a random discussion :)

The question is; how long does it take for your dreads to dry? :D also what method so it can be compared later ;) The day would be hot and sunny, perfect condition for dreads to air dry

Mine are 10 months free forming, and it takes around 3-4 hours!!

depends how you define dry and the weather

if i wash on saturday at 2 pm blow dry in short spurts (1-2 minutes or so) every 10-20 minutes till 2 am they are fairly dry (still can feel cold dampness inside if squeezed)

the following morning can still feel a lil dampness

sometimes into the next day

or 2

so min 18 hours to be somewhat dry 38 to be thouroughly dry

but hot sunny weather sitting outside can drasticly reduce that

Mine are freeform, and just over a year old. And...they always air-dry within a few hours? My hair dries wicked-fast! I live in a place that is very cool and dry though, so that definitely helps.

I have a mixture of backcombed and natural, some are quite fat. Usually takes most of the day, sometimes still damp when I go to bed, but are always dry in the morning. If out in the sun, they dont take long, maybe 2-4 hours.

peace
