I just wanted to reintroduce myself, I'm Monica. I've had dreads for almost 2 years. I used to be pretty active here, but needed to take a break. I started my dreads by backcombing then let them go natural. I can't imagine myself without dreads. I'll never comb them out or cut them off. Growing dreads coincided with some other major changes in my life that have all worked together to help me find my serenity and peace of mind. My dread journey was just the first step. Since I started I've gone from a twitching, neurotic mess that was trying to get myself committed (seriously) to a calm, happy, easy going, unmedicated person again. I'm a wife, mother, grandmother, lover of most things. No spiders tho. I can't handle spiders.
