palm roling does nothing at all (except damage if done often or agressively) its harder to prevent dreads from combining and becomming thicker then it is to make them do it
they will try to do it on their own thats why you sepasarateto prevent that unless you want thick dreads wich can be a real pain to care for
thick dreads can take mamy days to dry
(if real thick)

welcome theres no need to do that (and retwisting causes balding) i assume your african american? the more youleave it alone, not the more you work on them,, the better they will dread
