Why do some baby dreads end up folding up on them selves? Almost like tying a bow or something? Just curious cuz some in the back have done it. Hmmm....

Oh wow that's some personality for you! It's so crazy to watch what they do. And leave you asking why? Hehe
Eagle might remember. There was a member here who had all of her locks fold over like that. Her hair shrank by 1/2 in a matter of days. It went from bing 1/2 way down her back to above her shoulders. I can't remember who it was. But I know she had a timeline.
It's not very common too have it happen to ever lock. But it does happen

Lol. I'm gonna leave them. They are pretty tight. I was just wondering what else to expect.
Locks are made by tangled hairs. Some of those loose fuzzy hairs just happen to catch onto another part of your lock further down, probably while you sleep, and don't let go easily. You could rip them apart and free it so they don't fold over. But that's a good sign of locking. It means your hair is tangling.

What if I don't rip them apart? What might happen?
