I shouldn't have cut them. I could have gotten rid of most of the wax and they would have done better.

Lol ok. Well if they don't ask for it back it must not have been that important. Violin is cool. I saw a video of a metal band and the guy had a violin through a metal distortion and it sounded really cool and heavy. lol. I know what you mean by small hands. There are some chords I can't do on the guitar because of the stretch of the fingers. But I play both. Don't know if you checked this guy out but look up victor wooten on youtube. That is an amazing bass player

Hahah, no, I didn't get them from a play. Actually, the story behind my bass is a sort of sticky one: it was a friend's, then they did me wrong, and I just kept it when they didn't ask for it back.I originally learned to play the violin. In learning the violin, the vast majority of playing time is one note at a time, never really alot of bridges. That made it hard for me to grasp the concept of chords for the guitar, as well as having small hands that couldn't manage chords. Bass was what I drifted towards after a few unsuccessful tries at guitar. I really love it.

Thank you! Sweet. How long you been playing? That is a Yamaha 5 string. Plays really nice. But I have a jackson 4 string which I play more because it plays better for the style of music I play. If I'm reading that correctly you got it from a play?

I like this: I play bass as well. I'm rockin' a fender squirecaster bass with original strings, but the poor play what they get their hands on!
