Thanks for the comment. It was very encouraging as today is a discouraging bad hair day where I feel like all the loose hairs are finding their way out and the roots are loosening. We do have similar hair, though I really wish I had your length. I love how yours looks at just 2 and a half months! I only worry about shrinkage because I don't have much length to lose before I look like little orphan annie. I'm slowly braving going without a hat. I don't know why it's so hard for me, because I really like the way they look and feel. My hubby and I went to the zoo, and I took the hat off, because we were being goofballs and having a blast anyways. But going shopping around here... people are already sooo judgmental and appearance is everything in Boca Raton (next to money). People give you mean looks just for existing, and I feel like if I show my "messy hair", I'll get even more unkindness. Thankfully we should be up north or out west by the end of December. I really appreciate you commenting, and I'm going to keep up with your progress to give me encouragement as I see yours grow and mature.
nooo never backcomb the roots never do anything at all to tighten the eoots except let them tighten on their own!
crochet recovery takes a long long long time they wil fatten up and recover but your looking at 56 months if u crocheted once or twice over a year if u used it a fair bit
definately write up a comparison of the diferen sets then and im sure he 1st set was a disapointment

That's a great idea. I just crocheted a new headband today, and I think I'll wear it with my hair down shopping tonight. Thanks for inspiring me!
