Welcome. But all of the gunk that is going onto your locks is actually preventing it from locking and creating a haven for mold to grow. Wax is a hydrocarbon. It will NEVER wash out in normal soap and water. It needs a detergent to clean it off. So any water that does make it to your hair will get stuck there and create a swamp. Organic matter decays in swamps. An your hair is organic matter.
At best you can clean it all off and start over (yes you probably will have to, because once all the wax and products are gone, your hair will probably with straight again). At worst, mold has already taken root. That will depend on how often you washed. I don't think mold has started. It usually takes longer, but My hair rotted off in 2 moths because of wax.
So loving the site on my phone, especially being able to load pics so easily! Big ups SE
normal shampoos and conditioners build up leaving residues wich will cause mold
plus conditioners are made to prevent dreading
Thank you for the friend request. Hope you enjoy the dready journey!
