Sussi, oh, the books are incredible. But I put The Wheel of Time before A Song of Ice and Fire/GoT. I'm not into the WD, though I watched for a while; I just got bored with it. It was great in the beginning, but I just don't watch television much. I'd rather read a book
Jimmy, I've been meaning to get the books but havn't got around to it yet. I really should get them to fill in the gap until the next season starts airing next year. And I canalso fill that gap with a bit of Walking Dead. Can't wait for October. (Yeah,I keep track of the date.)
I've been to the UK a few times, I used to work for a company that had offices in both Sweden and UK and been to meetings in Manchester. Hatedcrisps and chocolate for lunch... What's up with that? I've been to London and Scotland too, Scotland is beautiful but I can do without the haggis. (I guess I'm not a big fan of British food...) It's so easy for swedes to get to the UK and not very expensive, I'll probably be back sooner than later.
Too bad Spartacus has ended, you would have fit right in as an extra on there. I love that show and Game of Thrones. Hope you get lots of exciting work....peace

Thats awesome you just sigmed up! It can take a whole for 1st jobs to come in. I'm sure the industry works the same there so if you havent had your 1st call your next call within like a month then give them a lil call to check in! I know many that have made a whole career out of background work!Learning to swim is next on my list of dreams, will be starting a nervous swimmers class real soon. Let me know how it goes for you with extra work. I dind having dreads has been a great casting point so far. Although i cant go for period dramas that are shooting in wales a lil loke Ga,e of Thrones. They say they want natural hair i wonder if they will accept dreadies camt get more natural than that
Haha, but that's good info for the description as well. You should def learn to swim, I love swimming and diving if the water isn't to cold (so not to manydips here in Sweden...)
I signed up on a Swedish site for extras in commercials, movies and tv-series a few weeks ago. No work so far, but it would be fun just to see the inside view just as you say. Figured that I will be unique in my agegroup with dreads.

Sussi, if you like the shows, and you haven't already, read the books! Epic indeed.
