Thanks so much for the welcome, glad to be starting my journey in the right place. I am interested in free-form, if I section my hair and just leave it at that, how can I control the diameter of a single shaft of lock?

if your undecided the best advice i can give is try freeforming  .. you can always tnr later if you choose

but so many jump into tnr then really wish they freeformed .. many enough to start over even after a full year or 3

if you start freeforming and decide to tnr you can tnr the naturally formed sections..or do 1 a day while the natural process continues..it gives you the option to tnr at any time..if you choose to

but if you tnr then want to freeform you would have to start over (ofcourse if you tnr to start you can..and should alow them to naturalize)

in the end, it comes more down to the experience you get rather then the end results
