Welcome. Eagle's right about palm rolling and salt. If you don't palm roll often, it will do nothing at all to promote lasting locks. If you do it enough to see progress it will destroy your locks. I did it daily, for the first 2 weeks, and 7 years later I'm still trying to fix the damage.

Sea salt, if left in for more than a few hours, it will over dry your hair making it brittle and weak

Dreadlockshampoo has the best shampoos I have ever used. I tried for almost a year to let my hair lock up, using bronners with no success. I switched to vikki's shampoo and in less than three weeks I had baby dreads forming. I love this shampoo.

yes you have hard water dont use bronners there! it will build up bad and never rinse out right no matter how much you dilute it

in fact use a antio residue shampoo to renmmove the bronners buildup 1st

welcome

check your water type in your area (google hard water map) if the waters moderately hard or harder dont use bronners at all

if you use baking soda you should use acv after (weak till mature)

if you have hard water www.dreadlockshampoo.com is your best option
