You've got beautifil hair . Stop twisting so much . I've never palm rolled or twisted . But my hair is totally natural dreads . But all that damage to your hhair can't be good . I'm obviousy into more natty dreads but don't over think or over do it .
It may seem nuts, but twisting more than 3-4 times a year, is still too much. I know, it sounds like nothing. But it is. I have a video on my page about how to separate locks. I love when they grow together, but I know many people don't. It may be worth a look for you.
nev er twist them! it causes traction alopecia your putting tensi0n on the eoroots that prevents the hair from growing
instead use the "popping" method odf seperation
thats the only maintenance thbey ever need os seperation but it should never ever ever be done by twisting
all that does is thins and weakens the roots and damages the sacalp so your hair stops frowing you get wider and wider gaps of showing scalp cauise no hair grows rhere anymore
Welcome. Salons, even loctitians have no idea how to grow healthy locks. Nothing that holds your hair in place should touch your hair. Locks need to tangle freely in order to lock. If you use gels, that stops the free movement.
All you need to do is wash your hair 2-3 times a week and separate them if they start to tangle together. And separating them does not include twisting them. You NEVER want to twist your locks. That will cause baldness and locks to be twisted right off.
You just need to keep them moisturized. Jojoba oil, Aloe, and is some cases coconut oil are best for this
welcome u want nothing at all that "holds" only moisture as needed and the bare minumum dryer hair dreads faster but african hair tends to get way too dry and get brittle so you just want to avoid hat brittleness
and do nothing to them use nothing on them except some oils to moisturize as needed
Welcome. But crocheting does nothing but destroys your hair. I breaks your hairs into smaller and smaller pieces which weakens your locks to the point that they can actually snap in places
