tnr is certainly better then backcombing but u can jusat let it dread naturally as it grows backcomb and tnr are an unnecessary step
but ok u had me worried when u said that i excpected interlocking or crochet etc

My hair is very fine but I have a moderate amount of hair, it's Not thin/baldish and just barely enough wave so that I can't call it strait. Think like most blonds but my hair is red so it has the unmanageable factor of curly hair without actually being curly.

I tried putting a couple in with back combing but I suck at back combing and the couple I did came right out. I have 3 in right now that I did with tnr with just a little palm rolling right after I did them to make them a little more of a roll instead of just a big puff. Those ones seem to be staying in pretty well so far, it's been 2 weeks so far with these 3.My hair is still pretty short in back, it was cut into an Aline a while ago and the back is just a little too short to dread just yet. I'm still deciding if I want to dread as much of it as is long enough and braid the shorter hair until it's long enough to dread in a month or two.
