Well, I am on the first day of naturally growing dreads. So now thinking more after reading so much, how long exactly should I wait to wash my hair again? And exactly what kind of shampoo is going to be best for this process. I don't want to use something that's going to be bad for my dreads etc. Btw I just got the pic uploader to work for me. You can see how much hair im going to be working with! This is going to be so much fun. Not only that but a completely new life for me :) I am so ready for this journey.

If you're head is dirty I'd say wash it. I'm using my regular shampoo (have really bad allergies and scared to try a different shampoo) just omitting the conditioner.

Okay thanks! I was worried washing would make it untangle but that's probably just the type of shampoo and conditioner I was using before. I should probably wait until my dread shampoo comes in yeah?

I started mine a week and a half ago. I's washing every 1 to 3 days depending on how dirty my head feels. I've noticed it feels more knotted/tangles after washing.
