ah well, im sorry you had a bad trip, been there a time or two. and youre totally right about having to go thru the bad to get to the good, unfortunately.i didnt end up going ot the gathering either, and the eclipse wasnt visible in asheville, the whole area was covered in a dense fog, totally miserable.the gatherings arent a big deal, theyre usually pretty small, so nothing really as far as 'need to know' there is usually and altar of some kind or offering, (ie bring a candle or an herb to burn) if you have facebook there is an event page and group that lists the details for each one as theyre put together.there is going to be a huge DnB, Dubstep, Psytrance, Goa party at the garage for new years eve, however, if youre interested. do a search on facespace for "touch full boom nye 2011"
