I don't use a moisturizer. The only thing I use for my locks and scalp is the baking soda wash and the apple cider vinegar rinse twice a week. And if my scalp is dry I use jojoba oil on it.
That is all and nothing more.
For me dreadlocks are low maintenance. I don't tighten them or palm roll I just let nature do her job and they have been healthy and continue to grow. I just keep em clean and leave them alone.

ofcourse that covers youir scalp preventing sin damage and as it grows becomes new dreads or joins dreadsno need to do a thing see how u have alotta bald areas with tiny lil twisted things surrounded by big empty gaps? the dreads need to thicken and gaps fill in

Hey man welcome! Don't rinse the bs off with acv Do about a half cup of bs to a gallon of water with some essential oil 10-20 drops tea tree, 20-30 drop lavender, rosemary, and peppermint. If you dont have essential oil it is ok but i would highly recommend them. Pour over head and let sit for 5-10 minutes no scrubbing required. Then thoroughly rinse out the bs. Then do about a splash of acv in a gallon of water. Pour over head and rinse right away.
