Where to go?

So, some of you know, that me and my girlfriend are getting married this summer. We've been trying to figure out where to go for our Honeymoon.

First was camping in Big Sur, but we figured that we could always go there (It's on the other side of the country, but it's not too far and exotic). Plus it's somewhere we like to take kids one day. And the point of a honeymoon is to do something we wouldn't normally be able to do. So That's out.

Next was Peru, but my uncle reminded us that when it's summer here, it'll be winter there, so who wants to freeze their butt off on a special vacation.

Third was Nepal, but my girlfriends boss goes to india for work a lot. Aparantly it can cost around $10,000 just to fly into india. That's way out of our price range. Plus we would have to worry about not speaking the language, and I don't want toaccidentallyeat something that I can't, not knowing what it is.

So now we're looking at the British Isles. She's part Irish and played in a string band as a kid and teen. She also did Irish dancing for years. So there's some history and personal significance there. I really want to see the Highlands of Scotland. So it seems perfect. That's where we're at now.

If anyone has some good suggestions, I'm all ears
